Readshaw Interiors Proudly Sponsors the Pinnacle Bike Pump Track at Cowling Recreational Ground
We’re passionate about supporting local initiatives that benefit our community—and one of our most exciting sponsorships to date has been the Pinnacle Bike Pump Track at Cowling Recreational Ground. We were thrilled to contribute to this fantastic project, which has already become a vital part of the community, offering a space for people of all ages and abilities to get active, have fun, and hone their skills.
So, what exactly is a bike pump track? Well, this isn’t just any ordinary cycling track. The Pinnacle Bike Pump Track is a purpose-built, looped track designed for a variety of wheels—whether you’re on a bike, BMX, skateboard, or scooter. The track is specifically engineered to be ridden by “pumping” rather than pedaling. In other words, riders use their body movements to generate speed as they navigate rollers, banked turns, and other exciting features. This makes it an ideal space for riders to practice their skills, improve their technique, and most importantly, have a blast!
Why did we choose to sponsor the pump track? Well, we believe in the power of recreation to bring people together and help build stronger communities. This project is a perfect example of how something as simple as a bike track can have a big impact—especially for the young people of Cowling. It provides an inclusive, safe environment for local kids to develop their cycling skills, while also encouraging outdoor activity, physical fitness, and healthy competition. Plus, it's a great way for families to get involved together—whether you’re cheering on your kids, perfecting your own skills, or just enjoying the atmosphere.
As a company that values innovation, teamwork, and community, we were excited to be part of this project from the very beginning. The Pinnacle Bike Pump Track is an incredible resource, and we’re proud to have contributed to its creation by donating supplies and materials for the construction. The project has already received a warm reception from the community, and we’ve seen firsthand how much fun everyone is having on the track. Whether you're just starting out or are a seasoned rider, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
But the community impact doesn’t stop there. The track is set to be officially opened by 12-time world bike champion, Jack Carthy, which will no doubt add even more excitement to the project and bring extra attention to the amazing things happening in Cowling. We’re thrilled to see the track become a hub for activity, and we’re sure it will continue to grow in popularity for years to come.
At Readshaw Interiors, we’re committed to supporting and enriching our local communities, and the Pinnacle Bike Pump Track is a perfect example of what can happen when businesses and residents come together to create something positive. We look forward to seeing the track continue to serve as a space where local kids and families can come together, improve their skills, and have fun. Here’s to many more laps, jumps, and good times ahead!
